About Us
Arno Bernard Pens were established in 2024 by three brothers who had been in the knife business since 2002. Originally making knives by hand for many years, Arno Bernard and his two brothers took a major step in 2015 when they purchased their first CNC machine, realizing the expanded production capabilities of machine-based manufacturing. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 led the brothers to rethink their entire business model, aiming to build the highest quality products in the market while also providing customers with great value through competitive pricing. This pivot led to the 2020 introduction of their first folder knife model, the Rinkhals, followed by the iMamba in 2022.
The success of their knives ultimately inspired the Bernard brothers to launch Arno Bernard Pens in 2024, enabling worldwide shipping so that customers across the globe could have a piece of Africa crafted by their hands. Starting from humble beginnings handcrafting knives, the Bernard brothers leveraged technological advances and a customer-focused business philosophy to grow their product line from knives to pens, bringing quality African craftsmanship to writing instrument enthusiasts around the world. Their journey reflects a commitment to blending tradition with innovation.
